Thanks for the read and thanks for sharing the graph. There are days when I have to remind myself that living in Europe and then living in Central America represented two different GDP scenarios and yet, I found myself happier in both of them relative to living in the states.
The challenge is I want to live happier in the states. I don’t work full time. I’m trying to find solutions to connect with entrepreneurs or people that share their time differently. Any suggestions?
Also, I know right now, I could go live in Mexico, on my old sailboat (that I sold) because I felt pressure to come back to the United States, marry, find a wife, start a family and wonder how much of that is just made up in my head. I mean, it’s not made up, but why leave when anything is possible anywhere.
I’m grateful for being American, I just wish my fellow Americans would stop focusing on money and financial success as much as they do, balance out their life, minimize, become minimalists, and move our happiness scale up.
Happiness is feeling of gratitude for me. My gratitude comes from connection to the community and space to enjoy the work, the people, the friendships, the time, and the life you live in the place you live it. I hope I find it soon.
Cheers to happiness and us living it every day.
